Hi

Welcome, here is my site that I use as my central hub that links together my ministry related activities. I am currently down in Guatemala, trying to shift the entire focus of my activities to be centralized within the kingdom of God and that my primary activity be working in a more connected and open way in his name (whether it be developing a program or evangelizing). In the meantime I make websites and am busy preparing for what is to come.

On believing

Brian Loves Jesus — Sat, 06/06/2009 - 20:06

1cor8:2 If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.

Still, a friend of mine said once that he believed Jesus had the truth, but that Christians have it wrong. Internally I thought something with some weight, but the Lord has shown me that Christians do have the truth in them. As a prophet you learn some things, one is that you need to be submissive to people and authority, its important, that you work with authority. But two, that you are used to straighten people out and you don't bend the truth to people. The prophetic ministry is the index finger that points, the ring doesn't belong on this finger. If you marry the congregation with your index finger you will distort what God's message is, the ring belongs on the finger that folds around, as much as we would sometimes want to cushion the message, we can't distort what it means.

I don't like doing it, but I don't like going against the truth in my heart either. People complain that things aren't like the 1st century church, but we aren't far from doing it, and I know or heard of plenty of people and communities that have done the same. We really are not any farther from doing it now than they were then, if not a lot closer and with it being a lot more obvious that all other roads fall far shorter than what people expect. We just need to give up the worldly attitudes, wisdom, philosophies, etc... Filter out unbelief. We really can't neglect that its very much about sacrifice, Jesus made it abundantly clear. Its all about love, and the greatest love is sacrifice even of one's own life for one's friends. Don't blindly do it though, act in Love and in His Spirit.
1 Cor 13:3 If I give up all I have, and give up my body to be burned [so that I may boast], but have not Love, I gain nothing

I love my friends in China

Brian Loves Jesus — Fri, 06/05/2009 - 22:18

I'm finished going over the BICF welcome DVD and webpage again, I really miss the people I see on there. It just all of a sudden sunk into me how much I have grown fond or attached to them even though I knew them a couple months. I feel the same depth of love or even more for some people there than I have felt for anyone I can think of.

I am really happy to be a part of such a great body of people.

On Serving Jesus PT 1

Brian Loves Jesus — Thu, 09/11/2008 - 22:19

I had been spending a lot of time in a daze lately, and trying to find my way out of it. For some reason I kept thinking "All I want is to fall asleep"... to fall asleep into life. Because now that I am with Jesus I feel that there is a lot of life after this, a lot of happiness or better said joy, freedom from problems and struggling, and I will be really awake.

GlorificaMe

A new Website is being made at http://www.glorifica.me (Glorifica Me means Glorify Me in Spanish). This site is intended to be populated with testimonies of redemption and of Jesus' mercy, grace, and love, and the power of His Spirit that is living us as we are walking this earth.

New Site!

Brian Loves Jesus — Sat, 08/23/2008 - 11:36

Site was put online, trying out Drupal which is a nice looking CMS and could possibly allow for some different interface arrangements.
